Firstly, you will see hotels, café, and bar along the road on kuta beach. Now, this is a paradise for eating, sleep, shopping, and night-out life. The tranquil atmosphere will not disappear. The weather is perfect for sunbathing.

Later, you nod off to the sound of waves gently breaking the shore. You wake at daybreak feeling completely refreshed. The beach is bathed in blue. So after a quick breakfast of honey-pancakes, you set out to explore nearby fishing.

The colorful fleet has just returned from its nocturnal exertions and pairs of fishermen jump into the water. Hoisting baskets of fish between them on bamboo poles. The soft morning light shifts through the palm trees only adding to the tranquility. Meanwhile on the beach, village women wait for the men to bring up the catch.

But be wary: it’s a gamble to let someone else guess at your idea of romance, and the bundled packages almost always come with hidden fees. All the little massages and welcome glasses of champagne lose their luster when the costs end up exceeding the sum of the parts. So just go around or ask the receptionist at your hotel before living the hotel for a dinner.

Out on the sea, a string of boat lamps glows along the distant horizon and fishermen heading out for the night. Bali tranquility is taking hold. The restaurant guests talk and laugh but all in a subtle way.

Likewise, in the evening you will have a seafood dinner at your hotel or restaurant around kuta. Balinese cuisine mix to international taste reflects the country’s geographical location, squeezed as it is between Bali, Japan, and France. There are the curries from the subcontinent, lemongrass-infused dishes from local farming, and Chinese soy and noodles.

You can start with a traditional spicy fish soup with hints of turmeric. It is a bit spicy and dig into a gorgeous sea bass marinated in lemongrass. It is simple food in a simple place. So let’s pack your bag and visit Bali for your holiday.

History

Mads Lange, a Danish copra trader, and 19th-century adventurer set up a successful trading enterprise near modern-day Kuta in 1839. He mediated profitably between local rajahs (lords or princes) and the Dutch, who were encroaching from the north. His business soured in the 1850s and he died suddenly, just as he was about to return to Denmark. It’s thought that his death may have been the result of poisoning by locals jealous of his wealth. Lange bred Dalmatians and today locals assume that any dog with a hint of black and white has some of this blood.

As a result, beach tourism got its start in Bali. Bob and Louise Koke – a globetrotting couple from the US – opened a small guesthouse on deserted Kuta Beach in the 1930s. The guests from Europe and the US stayed in thatched bungalows built in an idealized Balinese style. In a prescient move, Bob taught the locals to surf, something he’d learned in Hawaii.

During the late 1960s, Kuta really began to change and it became a modern village.

  1. I think that everything said was very logical. But, what about this?
what if you added a little content? I ain’t suggesting your information is not good., however suppose you added something to maybe grab folk’s attention? I
mean Kuta Beach – bali news is kinda boring. You ought to look at Yahoo’s front page and note how they write
post headlines to grab viewers to click. You might try adding
a video or a picture or two to grab readers excited about everything’ve got to say.

In my opinion, it could bring your blog a little bit more interesting.

  2. I seriously love your website.. Excellent colors & theme.
